Firefighters in the pink to raise cash
Portsmouth News, UK
The Havant crew members left their hoses and engines behind as they joined an aerobics class. Life as a firefighter might be tough but the group found out what hard work really felt like as they sweated and stretched their way through the hour-lonADVERTISEMENTg workout. The class took place at Staunton Park Community College, where instructor Tiffany Eneas was happy to put the crew members through their paces. Tiffany has been raising money all month for breast cancer awareness by changing her regular aerobics classes into ‘pink and fancy dress’ events, but the day the firefighters arrived ? some wearing not very much at all ? was easily the best -attended of them all. It wasn’t all fun and games ? the firefighters decided they wanted to help raise money and increase awareness of breast cancer because one in nine women develop this type of cancer in their lives ? but they smiled their way through the session in pink costumes and fairy outfits.

exercise done in water to complement and enhance your regular training and
exercise. Secondly, aquatic
therapy is any activity performed in water to assist in rehabilitation and
recovery from hard training or a serious injury. “Aqua aerobics is refreshing as
water calms and relaxes one’s body,” remarks Vanita Choudhary, an aqua aerobic
professional from Hyderabad. “As a low impact exercise, anyone can do aqua
aerobics.
